Importance of Salad

I have been stressing on the importance of eating fruits lately. Probably it was growing up that makes me realize it's time to take care of the body before it gets too old.
I have make Friday the Salad day while Saturday the Juicy Day....Salad day for eating salad after my dinner and juicy day for either Apple juice or Orange juice. I think in order to maintain this diet, it requires discipline and it is worth it.

Eating salad has a lot of positive effects. It is one of the simplest and also the healthiest food habits that anyone can commit to. In fact, I think everyone should declare a day as "Salad day".

Eating salad leads to an increase in fiber intake. Salads provide the body with a lot of fiber which in turn means lower cholesterol and less constipation. When you eat it, you will feel fuller and thus, consume less food during your meal and eventually helps to lose weight.

Vegetables and fruit are rich with many nutrients which contribute to our overall health. Besides that, when we incorporate olive oil, avocado, or nuts into our salad we help our body with the absorption of protective phytochemicals.

Why the need to be idle?

Have you ever wonder why is it important to be idle? Well, there are a lot of people in this life that are busy with every day life so much so that they neglect the importance of reflection. I wonder what it means for people who rush through their daily schedule. Well, I am not the type who would pack myself with a lot of activities everyday but even when I find it difficult to have free time, I will cut on my sleeping time, play my guitar a bit, take some time to read and reflect...and learn because I think it is important.

Being busy does not always means real work. The objective of work is production or accomplishment and either of these two involves forethought, system, planning, intelligence, honest purpose as well as perspiration. Seeming to do is not equal to do doing.

Hopefully, more of us will understand the importance of real work and not merely being busy.

How to improve your Page Rank?

I came across the term "Page Rank" quite a few years ago. It was probably due to the time when I started blogging and considering making extra money via blogging. Honestly, come to think of it, it is quite impossible to be able to improve your Page Rank immediately. I've always wonder what it takes to be a good writer as I felt that I'm not good enough. First of all, I was not really good in my vocabulary and once I'm limited to the same words after a few times, my articles, post and essays become boring.
Anyway, I'll left that for the next topic...maybe I could name it "Ways to make your writings interesting."?? Something like that...well, I'll leave that for another time.

I learn that it is not easy to improve your Page Rank. However, there are a few things that you can do as a blogger, writer and webpage designer....

It is important that your Keywords are found in page headers, titles, making sure that it is the first part of your content. After all, the search engines work based on keywords.
Your website or blog design should be simple and not suffocated.
You could try submit some of your popular posts into website directories or others. You could also consider using Facebook, Twitter or other social network to help improve your blog.
Write and submit your articles to online magazines.

Well, there are many others but as of now, I'm only experimenting with these methods. Well, at least I am making use of my free time.

Terrible feeling...

Today, I went to the hair saloon that I used to go and it did not open. My mom decided to go to the other shop and I followed...it was a disaster....the lady did not cut my hair in a way that I wanted at all.
I was so damn angry that my face was dark for the rest of the day. Mom complained about the way I reacted and I was not feeling good...I should said, felt worse. It was her fault in the first place to go the hair saloon.
Anyway, I just needed some space to vent out my frustration and these terrible feelings...

How to get rid of acne?

As I was surfing the web, I was actually looking at some of the ways to get rid of acne as I had acne. Since I am still on break, I decided to look for ways to have a "smoother' face. Haha!!

For those of you who are not sure about the term "acne", it is actually one of the major issue faced by teenagers and youth. However, we are seeing this problem occuring even among the young adults and adults these days. It is important for us to learn to take care of our face so that it is clean and do not have acne.

Here are some of the simple tips for you to get rid of acne and I'm still trying with it. Will post more photos to show the effects later:

Drink a lot of water.
Wash your face consistently.
Apply medicine to get rid of acne.
Try not to touch your face so often with your hands.

What you do when you have so much free time?

Being in the holiday gives me a lot of free time. Normally, I would love to sit back and relax....with a cup of coffee, entertaining and satisfying my lust for such delicious taste. Sometimes, I would just be sitting down, looking at my laptop or the netbook, reading some articles, checking out on my emails, with some soft music turn on to thrill me and gives me a relaxing feeling.

Well, I'm not the type who like to sleep as I find it to be a waste of time. So, I have even more time to waste. That's when I start another blog on fitness.
Probably as I had a lot of free time, I took time reading some of the MLC material. I won't said I'm studying 24/7 daily but I'm putting in some effort at least.

In a way, I am looking forward to the coming semester this year. Hopefully, I'll be able to do well in my examination this coming semester after this break.

I have quite a lot of free time in Penang. Probably because I couldn't find the right jacket to buy, I feel kinda moody. Anyway, I was spending a lot of time playing with the HTC P3600i since I have the Digi broadband with me. (my brother went to US so I could use his first...I might consider getting one myself later)

Well, recently, I just installed the emoze....a push for email in Windows Mobile. I guess it is probably not as good as the one in Blackberry but it's definitely quite useful. The function is good enough for me. Although the phone is quite old in comparison to many others, I'm quite happy with the performance at the moment. So, I'm not going to buy any new phones at the moment.

Anyway, I'm quite looking forward to university this time around...probably it was because of my last semester. You can find it in my latest post in CoffeeConversation.

Working on writing stories..

I have been learning how to write more interesting stories on a new blog that I started. I name it as Fabula...meaning fable...
So far I have only written 2 stories.
I'll be writing a story every week.
I guess I'm still very weak at writing in comparison to a lot of people but it's a good start.
I always wanted to share my perspective by telling stories (influence of Liang Hin) and I must said that I'm still quite bad at it.

Anyway, if you guys are interested, feel free to help me in giving me ideas on new stories and inspirations.

Yen Leng and Tuck Yuan's bday

Suddenly just thought about the other day when I went out to celebrate birthday with YenLeng and Tuck Yuan.

I wouldn't said it was it was one of the best outings that I have but I must said that it was a memorable one. It was awesome to be out with people who have spent about 2 years studying together and still going out and having gatherings together.

Well, it really brings sweet memories of the past where I would always hang out with my buddies from Timothy Cell. Somehow I just miss those days....an emotional me...;-)

What is new to follow?

I have been quite silent for a while in this blog. This is because of projects that I am working on as there are hundreds of articles left for me to write. So, there really isn't much time for me to be idling about.

However, thankfully with the exam finished, I have some extra time to do things that I love. Just blog and read stuff besides writing my articles. Of course, there are a lot of events lately, with Mother's Day just over. Then, today is Yenleng's birthday. And then in about a week's time, it'll be my brother's birthday. Hectic time of the year? Yup...May has always been the month where there are a lot of celebrations for me. So, money out, money gone!! loL!!

But then again, since I have a few more hours before going out, I am going to be talking about some of the new things to watch out, especially for people who are having a lot of time. For example, you could actually follow on the latest hit movie, Iron Man 2. An interesting movie to watch. Then, there is Ip Man 2. I won't said that it is very nice but overall, with all the martial arts and skills at fighting, Donnie Yen has done a great job at there. Not to forget Sammo Hung.

Besides movies, I am really looking forward to get a feel and touch of Microsoft's Kin. Before this, it was named as the Project Pink. Both the Kin 1 and Kin 2 have relatively strong specifications for quite a cheap price. $49.99 and $99.99 for the Kin 1 and Kin 2 respectively...I might go for it. But then again, I would love to read more reviews on these phones first.
Talking about phones, there are 2 platform that I would be looking to compare...the Iphone 4G and Windows Phone 7. I am quite sure there will be a more serious competition from Microsoft this time around but given the past record, I'll wait and see which would be the better one first.

Then, there is this new project I am working on, Fabula. It is a word from Latin, which basically means "little story" or where our English word, Fable comes from. I have yet to seriosly come out with any stories for that blog but at the moment, I am working on it.

I also think this is the time to workout, to be back at a high fitness level. After about a month of
routine without exercise, it is time to buck up!!
And yah, I just buy the Nike Mercurial. Damn nice!!

And then, I am still waiting for my scholarship money, which would be coming in about 3 weeks.

Well, what is new to follow about me? Basically, it would be the Fabula blog that I am working on. Then, I'll be managing my money in a different way for the next 2 semesters. There'll be less investment for the coming two semesters as I want to use the money for other purposes. Maybe getting myself the Xbox 360 would be the priority, but I'll wait til the Natal project first.

Ways to rest

I know that there are people who can just stay with their laptop 24 hours and 7 days. Unfortunately, this is a habit that is actually killing so many people of their lives. They no longer read books or do they communicate much with their loved ones. Their lives have been too preoccupied with going online.

While the internet is supposed to be helpful and providing so much more information for the world, so many of us are caught "facebooking" so often that we neglect doing other things.
Here are some of the suggestions for a healthier ways to relax and rest after a day's work or studies:

Go twitter....try doing it with your mobile phone instead. (this is not too healthy either as you're still caught in the internet world but still I find it helpful to slowly take me away from the computer/laptop)
Make a cup of coffee, read a bit of newspaper and magazines.
Try listen to songs or watch a short comedy
Go for a "yum cha" session with either your family or friends.
Exercise....jogging or work out. How about getting yourself a six pack?
I personally like this myself....TAKE A NAP!!!
BLogging? I don't suggest blogging to relax as so often we are caught doing other things at the same time. But of course, once in a while, it works for me. And I took those time to reflect on my life.
Talk about life with people around you.
Clean up room....I hate this, but then it's actually helpful.
Reflect on your day.....it'll be awesome to tune on some music, sentimental style of music would be cooL!!

I guess there are many other ways to rest and relax but one thing for sure is this: you need to find time away from the machines. Because if not, one day, you might find out that your life has been wasted away. Hopefully, you'll find ways that help you to rest your tired brain....I'm finding mine....hehe!

Almost half a year since I update this blog...

It has been almost half a year since I even look at this blog. While I have the tendency of deleting blogs that are inactive, I found such love for this blog that I couldn't do just that.
Now some of you might have been wondering what is wrong with this person who start an idle page. It must have been someone who have so much free time to do all these. Well, the truth is the other way round. I'm probably creating this blog because I want to make it a point to give myself break from things that I'm caught busy with. But I guess that doesn't work.
I'm just caught busy with tuition last semester and trying to think of ways to increase my money so that I could put it into investment.

Anyway those were the days. I must said that I have given up on giving tuition classes. I felt that since I have another 1 and a half years to go, I would want to make full use of these time to learn more things...probably about being a freelance writer, blogger as well as learning about programming.

While I believe in the need to be in an idle state so as to gain more creativity and even be more innovative, I also believe that "every wasted day is a wasted chance."
And I wouldn't want to live my life by wasting it away. None of us can be certain that we can live til we are 70 or 80 years old. And every year there are only 365 days and these days are flying very fast.

Well, I still constantly update about myself on my Seeker blog as well. I am also learning about writing blog related to smartphone and technology on the go. This is the latest addition to my blog lists. I definitely would love to keep this blog alive....as I believe it is part of what defines me...

Yesterday I went for a midnight movie with my family. I was rather tired by the time the movie started. But well, it's a comedy so it manage to keep me awake.
Lately, a lot of my friends been wondering why the heck am I so busy that I don't have the time to go out for most of the outings.
I think part of the reason was because I'm very much involved with my family activities lately.

As I watched "All's Well End's Well", I realize that my priority is correct. But of course, that does not mean we should ignore our friends. I'm still doing my best at the moment to juggle with my time. Tuition(not that I'm going tuition but I'm giving tuition classes), family, university, friends, gf....well, I'm doing my best. That's all I can say.

Well, this month has come to an end and really, the budget for January has been overwhelming. Hopefully, I could manage to reduce it for the following month.

Anyway, am watching Liar Liar by Jim Carrey now. Will be updating more soon...

Obama to the rescue??

President Barack Obama won a well-timed plug for his economic-rescue plan from the U.S. high-tech industry, a group he nurtured heavily during the campaign.

Mr. Obama's gathering with 13 chief executives at the White House Wednesday -- the first corporate sit-down of his presidency -- showed how much the two sides now need one another's support. Ten of the 13 executives run companies that would broadly be considered from the technology industry.

Mr. Obama is lobbying heavily for his $819 billion package of government spending and tax cuts in the face of sharp criticism from congressional Republicans, and even some Democrats, that the plan is too costly. Corporate America, meanwhile, is desperate to turn around slumping sales with the help of a burst of spending from the federal government.

"I'd say that the message has to be that the situation is dire," said David Cote, chief executive of Honeywell Inc., who described the prevailing emotion as one of "incredible fear." Joining him were the heads of International Business Machines Inc., Xerox Corp., Motorola Inc., Corning Inc. and Eastman Kodak Co., among others.

Administration officials said the White House meeting came together after dozens of technology CEOs last week lent their support to the stimulus package in a letter to Congress. The group was then broadened to include the heads of JetBlue Airways Corp., Aetna Inc. and BET Holdings Inc. Notable by their absence were any representatives of the hard-hit retail, banking or automotive sectors.

Still, nearly all of the companies invited to the White House session have been hurt by the sinking economy. Xerox's fourth-quarter revenue fell 11%, and it barely broke even. Corning Tuesday announced plans to cut its work force by 13% this year. Memory-chip maker Micron Technology Inc. reported a $706 million quarterly loss in December.

Most of the attendees also stand to benefit from the stimulus package, which emphasizes energy, infrastructure and technology projects meant to create or save millions of jobs.

IBM, for example, could benefit from Mr. Obama's proposal to spend $9 billion on high-speed Internet projects. IBM CEO Samuel J. Palmisano said a company-commissioned study found that a $30 billion investment in high-tech infrastructure could create more than 900,000 jobs. IBM's services unit would presumably benefit from all these initiatives, but the analysis said that most of the jobs would go to small businesses.

Making the most out of Adsense

One of the ways to boost your continuous effort in blogging is through an established relationships with other bloggers. With the company of new friends in the internet world, there will definitely be more enthusiasm and excitement in blogging.

I wanna share a few trick when you're blogging with Adsense. Again, although I said it as a trick, it really isn't about cheating or earning easy money but making the most out of it.

The Traffic

AdSense comes after traffic. No traffic, no AdSense. Take good care of your traffic. Your visitors expect some valuable information from you. Make sure you are providing quality content to them. This will increase your visitors’ return back ratio. And only those visitors who are less targeted, will return to the content you are providing. More targeted users mean more CTR. 85% of my visitors add my website URLs in their favorites. And they do return.

I would suggest people to form a commitment group, where there will be consistency in visiting each other blogs. By doing that, one make new friends and also allow a consistent flow of traffic.

EXPERIMENT

Experiment and experiment a lot, till you are satisfied with the tweaks you have done to achieve the highest CTR. Track your page performance by making channels of ads in your AdSense Control Panel. Keep experimenting till you are satisfied with your CTR. Though, every such experiment will make you lose money for a day or two, as Google may take time to adjust with new changes, but it will be beneficial in the long run.

Although most people hate this part of Adsense, they don't realize it's the most crucial part. When you're capable of learning these, it will help you to identify valuable ads. I suggest that everyone to keep on experimenting it for at least half a year. The beginning process can be a bit tiring and complicated but the results definitely is rewarding!!

What Webmasters have concluded

Webmasters have diverse views on how to increase CTR. It largely depends upon the keywords you are targeting, look of your website, quality of its content, placement of AdSense ads, page optimization, and various other factors. Generally, AdSense blocks wrapped between the quality content works the best. For the websites having poor quality content, placing the Ads before the start of the content works well.
If you develop a poor quality content website, it will likely give you high CTR and clicks, but you will be getting low priced ads. Besides, nobody will like to add your URL to their favorites. However, if you have quality content that keeps the visitors glued, you may get low CTR, but you will be getting high priced ads and regular visitors.

Blogging needs a fresh mind....Super Bloggers??

SuperBlogger, or Stupid and Saturated??

I was getting some moment of rest, and stop blogging for quite a while. Part of the reason was because I felt that I have come into what I would call it "saturation".
If you're a science student, saturated means it has reach to a point where "it has combined with or containing all the solute that can normally be dissolved at a given temperature".
Or simply put it these ways:

Unable to hold or contain more; full
Soaked with moisture; drenched

In my blogging term, what I mean is that saturation occurs when one runs out of topic, clues, interesting keywords and clueless about the reason of blogging anymore. So often, we blog because we were motivated by "adsense", "bidvertiser", "adbrite", "pay per post" or simply put it easy money.

However, let us not look at all these as the main motivation. Lately, I was into reading and honestly, part of my passion is really indeed writing and blogging but I've been lead into the deception of easy money. Thinking that adsense and other internet making money ideas could help me could only be proof of our denial towards the actual economy situation. Is it possible that the world suffer economically and yet we will find ways to make money easily on the net? Let us not simply fool ourselves about keywords, pagerank and other blogs from the internet.

This page is not about how to blog and be rich but about the importance of sharing key values through the internet. The world is heading to its' destruction and none of us seem to care much besides than our own money.

My saturation has come into an end and I'm looking at blogging from a different perspective. We're not trying to be Super Blogger but a sincere and geneuine one.

Super Bloggers only exist when the heart is there. Super Bloggers only exists when they choose to see that no one is more superior than the other, that super bloggers are only a myth.

A new year, a new aim...2009!!

Have you plan your new year resolution and your 2009 budget and financial strategy towards the unstable market?

I believe that if you have not, then you are missing out on a lot of the excitement for the year. As much as the worry of the instability of the economy, it is only reasonably for us to see that opportunity arises at the same time.

While probably it is true that we should be concern about this crisis but I believe worrying without planning is equivalent to zero.

At the moment, I believe according to the estimated income of mine and my monthly expenses, I'll only be saving about close to 4k by the first half year. Of course, I have yet to take into consideration investment and other possible extra income, like through blogging and etc.

Being a student, I think that sort of figure is an achievement especially when I'm not taking any monthly income from my parents. I'm a part time tutor, blogger and dreamer.
I don't consider myself a university student for I believe by having such perspective, I limit myself to the experience I could gain in tertiary education.

While I believe in the invaluable experience that I could be having through university activities, I believe that I will be having much more input in the real world.

And when I mention about being a dreamer, I believe it is very important and necessary for us to be dreamer, for only someone who dreams can achieve.
The famous quotation: "I have a dream" tells us that clearly.

So what is year 2009 all about??

I ain't sure about you but I'm quite positively sure about this for myself.

Doing well in my studies. Not that I did badly for 2008 but it's just that I could be doing better. A CGPA, 3.5++ seems quite okay but I felt that I deserve better and this year, I'm out there to prove my values in my intellectual standard.
Saving more money....recession is hitting Malaysia soon, and if you don't know how to manage your money, it will be quite hopeless. I am setting aside only about 5% for entertainment monthly and my gf and I already come into an agreement in managing our finance. I believe by end of the year, the two of us will be having that sort of capital strength to turn money into working partners.
Creating a website. While blogging seems to be receiving quite a good response from the cyber community, I believe managing a website will help create more traffic and increase the GooglePageRank. Most people try to cheat on their ranks and popularity but I believe at the end of the day, what matters is how much relevance are there in your blog/website. I believe personalizing the blog into a website could easily turn things around for me. Imagine the sort of space that I could have....business, sales, blogging, etc.
Back to the field....it seems that when one get older and too caught up with the world, one forgot of the most important value and price: health. While I might be too young to be talking about health, I definitely see the need for workout and constant running.
Pass the Actuarial Science Professional first paper....that will be sweet and good enough for me for the year.

A long time of planning....definitely...been thinking about 2009 for weeks before the clock ticks 12 on the 1st January.

If you are looking at 2009 in a dull spirit, there need to be a change.
If you are looking and anticipating 2009, you will still need to change,
For change never stops and it requires you to keep going...

On a long break

It seems obvious that I've been missing out on a lot of things. No updates, nothing.
I guess that happens when you're busy with so many things. Lately was out of touch with so many things as I was busy on Christmas celebration, checking out my results, details, and monitoring the KLSE market. Besides that, I was busy reading. Reading to enhance my knowledge so that the sharing here will be more than just my own "bias perspective".
Just the other day, I was rereading the book Mitch Albom, "Tuesday with Morries".
Honestly, I felt that this could how life can be in the long run, probably I won't have that much of time to spend with my mentor in the future ahead. Anyway, I made an effort during this Christmas. Went out with Liang Hin, chatted about lives and trying to hear stories from him as well. It was like a moment where I just went back to my "guru" and asked for advice. The difference was that this time around, I did not ask. We just talked about our lives.

Well, it really is interesting to look back at our lives and see how things change for us.
For instance, I was not the type of guy who would think about money and investment but lately, I've been learning about that and it kept my knowledge wider and yup, getting better.
But I also realized how dangerous this could be. That when we suddenly became addicted to money that we forgot about values and other much more important things in our lives. Love, relationships, friendships, integrity and all that.

I would really want to recommend a blog to those who want to learn about investment, money, and management of finance all the while not forgetting about the important values.

Have you ever wonder why some people are LOADED with "big time money" while you yourself struggling to make more than 1k at times?

Well, the issue here is simple....
It is not just because you're hardworking you'll be rich.
It is not just because you're smart you'll be on your way to join the MILLIONAIRES table.

It is only when you're both smart, bold and courageous enough to take the best opportunity arises upon your life that you can make it to the same league as people like David Beckham...imagine a footballer having about 100million....that is so unthinkable!!

Some people are not smart, but they're driving Ferrari and BMW.
Some people are not as hardworking as you are yet going for oversea holidays seem like an annual thing for them and you wonder when will it be your chance to go to oversea.

Here is the challenge that I am giving to you:

Do something extraordinary today. For example, you normally sleep at night by 10 but try staying awake, pushing up building up your body. A healthy body means a fresher mind...that helps you to think better and see things clearer
Stop looking at blog all the time. Think about creating a webpage instead.
If you have a business ideas, don't just dwell in it. Try exercising something more practical. For example, if you are interested to open up a coffee shop, start considering the cost and how much loan you can get from the bank. Is partnership possible? How is it that you can start increasing the profit if you already have one coffee shop open. Of if you felt that you don't have enough cash for a big time coffee shop, then start a home coffee shop then. Invite you neighbours to come and drink and eat at your place, for a reasonable price of course. If it's good, people will keep coming again.
If you wanna be like Kenny Siah, then stop reading on people's blog only. Start one yourself and yes...write the UNTHINKABLE...if you think that probably this new President of the United States ain't good enough for you, start writing about him. Probably imagining him as the 666 as described in the Bible. Controversy will make your blog be a hit. But of course if you love him, please don't do something like this for the sake of money
Well, start saving on your cash...and if possible, turn cash into GOLD

Is it possible to make it BIG by blogging?

Most people are amazed at how others could be earning thousands through blogging while trying real hard to even make it past 100 bucks.
A good friend of mine was asking me about the ways to increase the earnings through blog and my answer was simple: "I'm not making thousands myself. You should ask someone who is better at it."
I think so often that when when we were asked of the same question, our response would be I don't know. I had a coffee with my friend today and we chatted for quite a while.
Really...how's it that some people could be earning so much that they're getting their new Mercedes while we could barely make enough for survival.
I am not the kind of person who simply believe at other success stories. I believe that while many boast of their richness, only a few are actually on the road to success.
Anyway I realized one of the weakness that many of us have...the lack of effort and hardwork in the things that we do. While many will be so keen to blog for money, none really look hard at their contents and understand the best way to generate traffic.
I for one, fall into this category, where I lack the consistency in my effort.
Why is it that Ken Siah could earn thousands from Nuffnang while mine only have 5 bucks?
Is it because his blog has something extraordinary. Well, I must admit that in some ways his blog has good contents and they are consistent.
Look into our own blog and we will find some very interesting post and I'm proud that in some ways, I've managed to maintain the meaning and originality of the contents in my blog.
But the big question here is "Is it possible to make it BIG through blogging?"

Or is the blogosphere only meant for some special group of people?

I think that it is possible to be earning BIG time through blogging if only more hardwork and research are being done. Lately I've found that actually blogging through Wordpress would mean that there will be more space for me to develop my blog and yet I've not found the strength to start one as I'm quite satisfied with my current blog. No wonder inovation stop when one finally found satisfaction for that's the time when one stop trying.

I want to believe that blogosphere belongs to the community of a bigger world, which means that it is for everyone. It is hard to believe that one could be earning through blogging alone. Of course it is impossible if you're only blogging, clicking and trying to cheat your advertiser. That's not the proper, not to even say that it's not the right thing to do.

If you want to make it BIG time in blogging, then the first thing you must make sure is that your blog helps your advertiser to earn BIG time as well.
That's when the whole concept make sense. Some people would run away at the idea of MLM or even direct selling but even earning through blogging actually doesn't make much sense. And yet Google has make it Adsense. So for you to earn, you must make sure that your Advertiser ain't losing any money.

I found my blog generating more income when I thoroughly did my research and blog something that is meaningful. Probably it is time for us to start look at BLOGGING in a deeper perspective. BIG TIME MONEY through blogging? Yes...it is possible. I'll add more details here on my next post as I believe there ought to be more research done before any new post in this blog.

Making money from blogging is not as easy as ABC

If you think that you want to earn quick cash and hence opt for blogging, then you're wrong. Because to be succesful at this field, it requires something more than hardwork. It requires a strong passion to be good at writing. I remember that when I started blogging, it comes very naturally and when it becomes a duty, I sort of lost that interest in writing.
And it is bad because you're doing it for $$....a slave to it. That is when things turn out to be so wrong.
For you to be a good blogger or a freelance writer, there must be that passion in writing. Not simply writing, but writing the best you could.
At this moment, I am maintaining a few blogs. Some of it which I really don't bother much while some of it that I am actively involve it. Those of which that I am interested in such as my own personal life, friendship and lifestyle...those are blogs that I put my heart into. And the results are good. Of course one of the most terrible thing is when you simply blog about stuff that you're not even passionate about.
Lately, I've been turning this page into the page that talks about writing, adsense, payperpost and other making money ways through the internet as that are part of what I am doing daily in the net now. And really, it takes a lot of hardwork and passion to maintain each blogs.
I have a few blogs that I will recommend as examples of passionate blogger:

But he's going to study medicine soon.

http://www.lost-in-wonder.blogspot.com/ Addie's blog. Well, while he seldom blog about his own personal life, he has been manage to create interesting post with content that could either be funny, disgusting or thought provoking. I would say that much effort has been put for the content.

Alright. Those are some of the blogs that I will say you should take as example. Original ideas, with different ways to capture the interest of the public.
Of course, I don't think any of us are the super bloggers that are earning thousands or even millions because if that is the case, there need another extra effort to be put in which some of these blogs are lacking.
I would say that for one to be super effective at earning $$ through blogging, one will need to spend enough amount of time to produce a world class content within the blog.

That is definitely the rule number 1. So if you don't like writing, don't think of earning money from blog. Or even if you're not good at writing, you need to be creative at your writings.

If you're a blogger for the sake of money, then it is better that you stop wasting your time, for when you blog with that negative perspective, it would be meaningless and the results will be of little interest to you. However, if you're indeed someone who blogs and likes to talk about things that are going on around you, then welcome to the blogosphere for you will be enjoying it more than you imagine it to be.
However, the first thing you must ask yourself is how is it possible that I make my blog be part of the "exciting and interesting" group? Or maybe the proper word, to be more popular among the internet savvy group of people.
I know that most people will be talking about Adsense, Payperpost, Today.com, bidvertiser and other advertising company but if you really want to earn the most out of your creative writings, then it is necessary that you understand the "Google Page Rank" system.

Page Rank is a link analysis algorithm that assigns a numerical weighting to each element of a hyperlinked set of documents, such as the World Wide Web (www), with the purpose of measuring its relative importance in its set. In another word, it gives the rank to its popularity.
If you wonder what is so different about Google, then the PageRank is what makes the difference. It is in fact the trademark of Google. Google has exclusive license rights on the patent from Stanford University. The university received 1.8M shares in exchange for the patent. The shares were sold in 2005 for $336M.

PageRank is a probability distribution used to represent the likelihood that a person randomly clicking on links will arrive at any particular page. PageRank can be calculated for any-size collection of documents. It is assumed in several research papers that the distribution is evenly divided between all documents in the collection at the beginning of the computational process. The PageRank computations require several passes, called "iterations", through the collection to adjust approximate PageRank values to more closely reflect the theoretical true value.

In actual fact, Google PageRank could easily be defined as the value of a page that reflects the probability of the random surfer will land on that page by clicking on a link.
Therefore, it is the outbound link to your site that will increase your PageRank.
Besides the chain that could be formed through such links, it is also understood that there are page without any link to other pages. Therefore, the concept known as damping factor is introduced. By taking into consideration of such existence, the pages with no outbound links are assumed to link out to all other pages in the collection.
One of the main disadvantages of such system is that it favors older pages, because a new page, even if it is a very good one, will not have many links unless it is part of an existing site. Therefore the Google Directory allows users to see results sorted by PageRank within categories.
There are several strategies being proposed to accelerate the computation of PageRank and thus impacted the reliability of PageRank concept.
But please do take note that Google has been actively penalizing sites selling paid text links. And so if you think of doing the same thing, prepare to face the consequence.

So far, Google Adsense has been the most attractive ads company that is available and most bloggers have submitted to it. It is crucial for us to understand that the Google PageRank determine to a certain extend the value of your blog. Hence, there is a need for us to know how to be more highly rated than what we are getting. It is not about manipulating the system but the need to make sure that our worth and quality is being recognized.

Again, I will say if blogging for money is your sole purpose, then you're at the wrong track.

A new leader, reimagine the structure of the United States

I belive that Barack Obama has a good ideas concerning where he want to take this country. Obama is known for "bringing people together even though they might be completely different people."
Even Obama is young, being he is a Harvard graduate, hes is very educated. Also Obama wants to fix the American Health Care proble by making it affordable for every one.
He was also promised to take the troops out Iraq. Even though Barack Obama might seem perfect he is not taken seriously because he's younger than most presidents making him unexperienced.
Also a lot of controversy surrounds him being that the first black president.

One flaw that Obama has is that he is so devoted to world peace he might over look problems in the United States.

Barrack Obama has been elected president. He has beat out John McCain for the chance to be the 44th person in office. While listening to his post election speech he seemed like a better candidate then i thought he was leading into the election. He is a strong candidate and is one of our youngest presidents. I think its cool how his kids get to grow up in the nationals capital and in the White House. That is a cool opportunity for any child to get to do. Obama will work toward resolving the problems in the country such as the environmental problem and the Iraq War. His term will be an improvement over our current presidents.

So can the Superman OBAMA make it as one of the greatest President known to the United States?

The new superhero? Or zero??

Quantum of Solace

What would you think of movie that starts from a few cars racing and some gun shots?
That's how the new Bond started.
Continuing from the ending of James Bond, Casino Royale, Bond was on his way to meet M, after capturing Mr. White. Quite a stunning action scene with Bond making a 360 degree turn while trying to get rid of his pursuers. And well, with extra excellent driving skill, Bond managed to kill his pursuers and meet up with M.

The whole movie was about this organization, Quantum and to make it worse, the CIA and British secret agent know nothing about it.

"The first thing you should know about us is that our people are everywhere," said Mr White. And that is when the first shocking truth hit M. Her bodyguard of 5 years and someone she trusted for 8 years was also part of this organization, trying to kill her.

The movie was excellent in a lot of ways...with some flaws though.

And the movie has left some unanswered details as well. As in where is Mr. White at the end? Well, the rather annoying part was the beginning soundtrack. Honestly, it was rather terrible.
Nevertheless, the action skills and intelligence of Craig in playing his role has make the movie worthwhile.
The villains are rather different in some ways, let's say villains are getting smarter nowadays.

Most people will probably argue that Craig has create a Bond that is different from the original but if we were to look at it from another perspective, he has create a Bond that is more human, and yes, more realistic.

British super spy, James Bond is someone with emotion, and could be moved and motivated by self emotion as well. Look at this Bond, you will find similarity with Jason Bourne from Bourne Ultimatum. A killing machine, seeking for some truth and full of vengeance.

Overall, I still think that Craig plays a better Bond than the previous others.

Now that James Bond is done, next is MADAGASCAR 2, ESCAPE TO AFRICA!!

What can I said about the mobile phone that has make a difference in my life?
I bought HTC P3600i when I entered University Malaya. Honestly, right until the point I bought this mobile phone, I was doubting if I should buy Nokia N series instead. But after a few months, I can honestly said that purchasing this mobile has been the best option at that moment.

With the wide functions available, this PDA has been user friendly and of course, a friend in times of need. I remembered using the PDA to connect to the Internet to check my email when Great Eastern contact me to tell me about the scholarship interview result. As I was not with the laptop that moment, I use HTC to connect and it was fast.

Besides that, handwriting recognition has been useful and easy to be used.
I also get to choose whether to turn the mobile into vibration, sound on or everything is off.

The Video Call has been cool and the PDA seldom lag although a lot of programs are running at the same time. Although I accidentally downloaded some virus into the PDA, I manage to clear it off from my PDA and at the moment, it is fast and with the 360 degree scroll, it makes it easier to use the mobile with one hand.

If you indeed want to buy a new mobile, then HTC Pro should be the most appropriate option, with wide variety of functions and that it is also user friendly. The price is not too expensive in comparison to other mobile phones of the same standard.

Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said there was no specification in the country that a Prime Minister must be a Malay.

“But when you talk about having a non-Malay as a PM, you are being racist yourself because you shouldn’t ask the question if one is Malay or non-Malay.

“If he is acceptable to all Malaysians, yes, he can become PM. The specification is that he must be the leader of a majority party and if he can be such a leader of that majority party. Don’t ask if he is Malay, Chinese or Indians,” he told reporters after delivering a keynote address on “Bangsa Malaysia” at the Perdana Leadership Foundation on Wednesday.

I believe that this statement is thanks to the recent victory of Barrack Obama in the US General Election.

Unbelievable as it seems, the country which was often branded as racist is also the first country to allow someone from another skin colour to be the country's leader.

Alright, back to Malaysia....honestly I find it hard to accept such statement from the man who was the leader of UMNO and the PM for 22 years in our country. It is not that I have anything against UMNO, or Barisan Nasional. After all, it is this party that eventually fought for our independence in the past. But just from the recent by-election where Anwar Ibrahim emerge as the winner, most of UMNO or BN were playing with the racial issue. With some speculated that Lim Kit Siang might be the Deputy Prime Minister were Anwar Ibrahim rise as the Prime Minister. And these causes fear among UMNO loyal supporters.
Isn't this racism?

OMG! It is not that we have anything against having a Malay as the PM or DPM. We were not even asking for a non-Malay to be any of the post. But such speculation itself could cause such unnecessary anger is already a sign of RACISM...

What is sexy all about?

I was chatting with my friends about "chicks" the other day and really, I was wondering how people look and describe sexy girls really are. Is sexy about wearing little clothing?

Alright, I have a few samples here:

Jessica Alba, sexy?

Question is in what sense??

Or what about Victoria Beckham?

If we look at these images, the term "sexy" definitely suit them. I remember I have a friend telling me why she love to take photos of herself, because she loves the attention she is getting with the guys looking at it over and over again.

If we read the WIKIPEDIA, we will have the page redirected to sexual attraction. Apparently that is how the word sexy is related to. Mainly "sexual attraction".

Much of human sexual attraction comes in 3 types, mostly what known to us as physical attraction:

Visual perception
Audition (voice, or movement's sound)
Olfaction (How others smell, naturally or artificially

Most guys would be so glued to the screen of their computer when it comes to pornography.
I think these whole thing is due to how HOLLYWOOD brought to us the term "sexy".

And these has influenced the thoughts and perspectives of every single individuals. Imagine back in the days of Adam and Eve, OMG....those people are like wearing leaves...lOL!! Then won't these means that most of them are sexually attracted all the time?
Imagine if someone walking past in front of you with their breast covered by nothing but leaves...that would be sexy right? Especially someone with the curve all over their bodies?

Being a guy myself, I am drawn to look at sexy woman as well, but it hit me that sexiness should not be seen in such "pervertness".
And there really isn't a need for the girls to be wearing less and less to be sexually and physically appealing to the public.

Because the term sexy has been used so often in such negative terms, I guess it is better for us to start looking more normal than sexy.

Well, probably we will need more images that is not so related to "sexual attraction", something like those bunch of kids from HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3. In the long run, we could change this bias and polluted term sexy.

I am getting a bit nervous lately with Manchester United being beaten by Arsenal 2 goals to 1. As if the week wasn't bad enough with my exams coming out with "extra difficult" questions.
And really, I wonder what the heck is Gary Neville still playing at important matches. For goodness sake, please bring this player out.

Anyway, we shall see how the champions will progress from here.

As I was on my way back from KL to Ipoh, I was wondering what on Earth is our government doing. .Raising the petrol price like hell and now slowly dropping it, simply shown how stupid MALAYSIAN can be... It only show our lack of understanding of the world market.

The man who was seen as incapable has enter the exit door...

What about this man then?

Could this man who said things like "UBAH CARA HIDUP ANDA" but live like a millionaire himself going to make any better change?

I have come to a conclusion that all politicians are corrupt and it is like Harvey Dent said in Batman, the DARK KNIGHT: "It is either you die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain."

I guess it is quite clear in our country.
